“Ukraine — Land of the Brave”
A UCMAO evening in Toronto on 10 December 2022, presenting flags signed by Ukraine’s defenders and thanking Canadians who help Ukrainians.
Branch of UCC Ontario Provincial Council
UCMAO connects physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and other health professionals of Ukrainian heritage — to support each other’s careers, help colleagues arriving from Ukraine, and deliver medical aid where it is needed most.

What we do
Practical guidance on licensing, credential recognition, study and career pathways in Ontario’s health system.
A community of colleagues who share experience, mentor newcomers and open doors for each other.
Reliable information for members and a voice for Ukrainian Canadian health professionals within UCC Ontario.
Coordinating donations of medical supplies and medications from Ontario to hospitals and medics in Ukraine.

Our work
In the spring of 2022, UCMAO coordinated donations from Ontario hospitals, clinics and families, sorted and documented them, and shipped medications and supplies to hospitals and frontline medics in Ukraine — working alongside community organizations across Canada.
Arriving from Ukraine?
We gathered the official starting points for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and dentists — regulators, credential assessment and settlement support — in one place.
